Since 1975, Bob Peterson has been building, repairing, and restoring musical instruments.

At a young age, Bob became a passionate woodworker and avid musician. These passions came together over time to create his career path of becoming a luthier. In 1979, Bob pursued his passion and attended Guitar Research and Design in South Stratford, VT, owned by known luthier Dr. Charles Fox. After school, he moved to South Florida and worked in a guitar repair shop in North Miami until opening his own business, Angel Guitars, in July of 1980.

Throughout the years, Angel Guitars has worked with everyone from international touring musicians to beginners just starting out. Specialties include vintage restoration, custom instruments, and repairs.

In 2024, Angel Guitars became a multi-generational family business when Bob’s daughter, Sara, joined the shop, carrying forward the same commitment to exceptional craftsmanship, care, and dedication to the music community.
